The first comprehensive reprinting of the first hard-boiled detective character, spanning nearly 100 stories over three decades. Rather than relying on period illustrations, I opted to enlist photographer Mark Krajnak to supply new images for each of the seven books' covers. To tie into the noir feel of the stories a classic cut of Bodoni was used as the title font throughout each installment.
